By renting our décor pieces, you agree to the following terms and conditions, ensuring a seamless experience for your event.
1. Booking & Payment
For events within 45 days, a 75% deposit is required upfront, with the remaining balance billed prior to the event.
For events beyond 45 days, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your décor rental.
Full payment is due 7 days prior to the rental start date.
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit.
Payments must be made via EFT, with proof of payment sent to hellojordan@bambuhaus.co.za
2. Rental Period and Changes
Rental periods are for 3 days, starting from the agreed collection date.
Changes to the rental order may only be made 72 hours before the event.
Extensions to the rental period must be requested and approved in writing at least 3days before the original return date and may incur additional fees.
3. Use of Décor Items
Décor items must be used responsibly and handled with care.

Items are to be used for their intended purpose only.
No alterations, painting, or permanent modifications to the items are permitted.
4. Damage & Loss
The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of rented décor items during the rental period.

Any damage or loss will be billed at full replacement cost.
A security deposit may be required, depending on the value of the items rented, refundable after inspection upon return.
5. Cleaning
Décor pieces must be returned in the same condition as received. Any damage or loss will be billed at full replacement cost.
Do not wash any pieces; you may rinse and pack them in the same equipment provided.
Normal cleaning is permitted; however, damage caused by improper cleaning or neglect will be charged.
Bambu Haus will conduct an inspection upon return to assess the condition.
6. Collection & Return
Collection and return times must be strictly adhered to.
Late returns may incur additional daily rental fees.
Items must be returned to our Menlo Park location unless otherwise agreed.
Bambu Haus reserves the right to collect items at an additional cost to the renter.
7. Cancellation & Postponement
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the collection date to avoid full charge.
Postponements may be allowed subject to availability but will not result in deposit refunds.
8. Liability
Bambu Haus is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use of rented décor items.
The renter assumes full responsibility during the rental period.
9. Indemnity
The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Bambu Haus against any claims or damages arising from the use, misuse, or damage to rented items.
